  • 16 ounces pipe rigate pasta
  • 2 ½ cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups leftover beef brisket, shredded
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the pipe rigate pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot.
  2. In the same pot, combine whole milk, heavy cream, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir in both types of shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, turmeric, and black pepper.
  5. Simmer for 5-7 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  6. In a separate pot, heat the shredded brisket with beef broth and barbecue sauce over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until warmed through.
  7. Serve mac and cheese in bowls topped with brisket and additional barbecue sauce.
