  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
  3. In another bowl, mix olive oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream, and mashed bananas until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in dusted chocolate chips gently into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and arrange banana slices on top; sprinkle with granulated sugar.
