  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together; gradually add to the wet mixture until fully combined.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick between parchment paper.
  4. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling; spread over dough.
  5. Roll dough into a log shape; wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Slice chilled log into rounds and place on prepared baking sheet.
