  • 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cheddar cheese, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion, celery, and bell pepper; sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in the jalapeno and minced garlic; cook for one minute.
  4. Mix in the spices—chili powder, cumin, oregano, and paprika—and stir well.
  5. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour in bone broth and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes.
