  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 Tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix canned pumpkin, brown sugar, maple flavoring, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until well combined.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface into a thin rectangle (6×22 inches) and cut it into eight even rectangles.
  4. Spoon the pumpkin filling onto one rectangle, leaving space for crimping. Top with another rectangle and press edges firmly.
  5. Use a fork to crimp the edges securely.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes until lightly browned.
  7. Mix powdered sugar, maple flavoring, and milk in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  8. Once cooled, spoon glaze over each poptart.
