Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups dry ditalini pasta
  • 2 1/23 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 34 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add ditalini pasta and stir to coat with garlic. Pour in enough chicken broth to cover the pasta completely. Season with salt and pepper, then bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, cover the skillet and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for about 9-10 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid, stir the pasta, then drizzle in heavy cream while on low heat. Stir gently for one minute.
  5. Remove from heat, add butter and parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Taste for seasoning adjustments and serve garnished with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
