  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (grape, strawberry, or your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Mix in peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and dollop jelly on top. Use a knife to swirl gently.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top of the jelly layer and repeat the process with more jelly.
